If we had drafted Russell Wilson...

...and if we still had the first pick, would you still take a quarterback with that first pick?

Just curious. I haven't seen enough of Wilson to make a long-term call yet. From a statistical standpoint it seemed like the team was protecting him a lot earlier in the year, but anecdotally it seemed like he improved as the year progressed.

I think anyone could of done better for us last year, Stanzi included, KC didn't give the young Stanzi a shot, why do you think they would of Wilson?

Because he's Russell Wilson! He would have grabbed them by the collar, lifted them up while throwing a 30-yard touchdown pass, and yelled in their faces the German equivalent of "Start me! I'm your quarterback!"

Or actually, I doubt they would have given him a shot, too. So this is kind of a double hypothetical. We draft him and then we play him. The odds against that are astronomical.

Because Stanzi is horrible. Wilson had talent. Watch the preseason games, stanzi was clueless on where to go with the ball and missed easy throws.

'Team-killer' is added every time you type "P i o l i" so you don't actually have to type it yourself.

If we had drafted Wilson, we're not picking #1.

If Wilson had been coached by this coaching staff we might be. But then the poll wouldn't be nearly as interesting.

If your QB is 5'11" and runs the ball regularly, you'd better have a spare.
