Would you take Rob Ryan as DC ?

Pro Football Weekly ‏@ProFootballWkly

RT @BrianCoz: Not sure if this is out there but I just heard the Cowboys have fired Rob Ryan.

Sure would have thought he could have done better with having Ware as his cornerstone

Even before he got to Dallas I always thought Rob Ryan was the perfect Cowboy: Overrated. And beyond that, overrated based on things he hadn't even done.

Ryan sucks.
Does that take into account special teams scoring and offensive turnovers for scores?

As far as I know, it's just defensive points only.

Regardless, the defense definitely took a step back after adding two highly sought after cornerbacks, which I'm sure played a major role into why he was fired.

That defense has a lot of talent.

That's a pretty decent arguement, the talent. Just don't want it to be a stat that overlooks the facts. Like how many games the chiefs O lead in yards and TOP but lost the game from not scoring and turning the ball over. We lost a lot of games this year and last, because of offensive eneptitude, not defense. Yet our defensive ranking is poor too.

Ya know Dane they got some good D players like KC but struggle. Thats bad DC. Like KC need to find a DC that can get our guys in the CORRECT spots to make plays. DJ, Tamba, Houston, Berry can make plays let em do their thang.

No.

He's been terrible everywhere he's been. He has never had a good defense.

He's loud. That doesn't make him good. The weakest dog on the yard barks the loudest.

Gunther Cunningham doesn't have a career without Derrick Thomas, Neil Smith, etc.

He's a clown in Detroit now. Just like Rob Ryan is in Dallas.

My first reaction is this....but if Reid thinks he can handle him, I'd be supportive. Considering circumstances, he did a pretty decent job.
