I don't know the answer to that because I don't even know if that is done or what the reason is for it. I did google trying to find out though.

No, it's not limited. If you want to enter the courthouse, you will be searched until the officer feels you are no longer a threat.

Common sense would tell you why you would be searched before going inside a courthouse, a place where criminals' fates are determined. Lots of emotion with criminals and victims friends/family.

A football stadium? not so much

Not really. You have to empty you pockets, put your stuff through a scan and/or search, walk through a metal detector, which, if set off, gets you additional scrutiny. And you have to go through all that in order to access a courtroom--our very legal system--a whole branch of government! And you can't see what is going on in this branch of government unless you submit to a search--without even a bit of probable cause or reasonable suspicion.

Piers Morgan knew Alex Jones would come on there and yell and act intense, because that's what he does. Meanwhile Piers would sit back and act all civilized and quiet, even though he's normally a huge "bully" to his guests. It went according to his plan and people bought it apparently.

And common sense would tell you that there is a need for security when people are getting on a plane.

And yes, people are searched before going into football games. Generally not as thoroughly, but they are searched.
