Why would you want to make it harder or impossible for a woman to defend herself against rape or sexual assault?

I have no doubt that that's true, but between the two of us, I'm interested in protecting our civil liberties from being ground down in order to enable a police state, whereas you've demonstrated in this forum a placid indifference that's suspiciously only aroused when somebody is advocating gun control.

I can't recall a single time you've taken an active position against the national security police state in that time.
