The N.R.A. spent around $100,000 to defeat her in the primary, because she would not support a bill that would have allowed people to keep guns locked in their cars on private property without the property owner’s consent.

Awesome. That was good money spent wisely.

Time to educate them in freedom philosophy and why guns must be kept. Even if not, it would still take an Amendment to infringe as much as they'd like.

If you think so, then the NRA is your type of organization.

Shooting range apps are bad? It's not GTA4. It's a shooting range.

I'm not really a fashion kind of guy. It's good to have a hobby.

Well, for those who like advancing looser gun control and fashion, now has never been a better time to join the NRA -- a free shooting hat!

That's a nifty hat, but I like my NRA hat more. It's a much older style because I've had it for decades.

Yes, of course the ratings came from the NRA, who the hell else do you expect to produce the NRA's grades?!?

If someone in the Senate had voted the way that Harry Reid voted, they would have also gotten a B-rating. They didn't decide not to oppose Reid then made up the grade after the fact.

Again, if you are a B-rated incumbent or better, you will not be opposed, regardless of party. This fact does not seem to fit in with your pre-conceived view of the NRA as an arm of the GOP, even as almost a dozen Democrat Senators tout their support from the NRA in political campaigns.

Hope that hat holds up better than the free range bag I got. Goddamn thing tore after my second trip to the range.

I never said the NRA was an arm of the GOP (although, they are, as a general rule). I pointed out that the NRA spends a ton of money in Republican primaries on a single issue, which can result in an extremely right-wing Republican who loses in the general election vs. a more moderate Republican who can win in the general election.

And your referenced grades, because they come from the NRA, is almost like a tautology: "They give to everyone who they like (and thus, grade high)!" Well, that's really objective, huh?

Life Memberships can be had right now for a measly $300. Great bargain considering all the benefits for Life Membership.
