I don't know. Most of the R candidates seemed to be pretty much crap. It's hard to believe that Romney was the best that they could come up with but that's the guy they put up there. Was there a better R candidate this last time that might have been torpedoed by the NRA?

And your referenced grades, because they come from the NRA, is almost like a tautology: "They give to everyone who they like (and thus, grade high)!" Well, that's really objective, huh?
I think they grade on support of legislation, and the strictness of the regulation supported. That's been my experience anyway.

Sneak into their houses and shoot one of their family members at night. Then, the next day, pose as a bargain gun selling street vendor. Bam. Winning.

No it isn't. Not with who is in the WH. He'd do it in a heartbeat if there was no Constitution to restrain him. He will still infringe...that's my issue.

Oh, and ah, love the new screen name.

I haven't done that yet on a internet forum. It was just an idea. Ron Paul is going to the college campuses to educate the young about such things though. Have to start somewhere.

I'm down. He'd have to give his real name though, kind of a sticky situation there.

Tell that to new york/california. Tell that to the children growing up there. Tell those children that they will never get to legally buy an AR15 because the politicians of our time were delusional ****ing nutjobs.
Tell that to everyone that has lost certain guns made before 1986 because they didn't pay a fee for the privilege to own it. Tell that to the children of said people.
Don't think for 1 second that the leftist politicians in this country don't fantasize about door to door confiscations and an unarmed populace so that their bullshit legislation can go unchecked.
Don't think for 1 second that every politician is not aware of the real purpose behind the 2nd amendment.
They know all too well what it stands for, and they know if they chip away at it too fast, what will happen. Hence the reason they take baby steps towards disarmament.
