They know all too well what it stands for, and they know if they chip away at it too fast, what will happen. Hence the reason they take baby steps towards disarmament.

No it isn't. Not with who is in the WH. He'd do it in a heartbeat if there was no Constitution to restrain him. He will still infringe...that's my issue.

Oh, and ah, love the new screen name.
Speak plainly - what laws are being walked on, exactly? I am genuinely curious, for nothing I've seen come out of the WH sounds to me like disarmament is on the way.

And yeah, the name was a gift from Bugeater and Phobia, the bastards.

I'm sure politicians on both sides of the aisle fantasize about all kinds of goofy ****ed up shit that will never see the light of day. As far as California and New York go, well, they're dumb as hell and are going to lose the money they would have made on those sales to neighboring states. The people living in those two states need to step up and be heard with their vote.

This country will never, NEVER disarm its populace, no matter how hard they want to or try. I crack up at the people who are genuinely afraid of this. As I've said before, there is way too much revenue in gun and ammo sales for anyone, anywhere to see disarmament as a realistic goal.

We're in Obama's fifth year now, and I've yet to hear about how the gubment is coming for my guns. Do you, or anyone else, truly believe that it's coming?

You always show up late, after a day, demanding I repost due to your questions. Just read the forum. I am an hour earlier than you and need to go to bed ya' know.

Also this administration has increasingly been trying to get around the legal prohibition of tracking and registering guns by trying to force gun dealers to hand over their records. Violating privacy by having a doctor ask if a patient has any guns. There's also no authority in the Constitution to limit what kinds of guns people can have.

Even Democrats call his proposals extreme...and RINOs are speaking out. Not to mention states and threats of civil disobedience. You call it over reacting, this is how we prevent such things.

I actually agree with you on #16. I see no sane reason to talk to health care provider about the firearms in my house when I'm being seen for a physical or being treated for strep. The preparedness thing I have less to complain about. Actually, I'm suprised that there wasn't some type of response model in place before all of this craziness with the shootings went down.

Bottom line in ALL of this - I'm in favor of more psycopath control. Leave the guns alone.

The left is going for the throat of gun owners.

It's too bad they didn't feel as strongly about punishing actual criminals and violent crime offenders.........rock the vote.

Looked like mocking to me. In my exprerience, if someone doesn't know the difference between "waste" and "waist"--they don't like it pointed out.
Just because he's a certifiable nutcase doesn't mean he doesn't have feelings, you know.

Why would I mock someone who I like, is civil to me and whose side I am on more than I am not?
I don't mock posters like that.

Nope. It was intended as a pun. Whoooooooooooooooooooosh! Look over your head.
