I tried stomaching the WVU/UT game about a week so ago.

I was much better off picking up some granny twat at the local senior center.

I must admit I have watched a lot of the second half of the Minnesota/Michigan game. It has been a pretty good game.

Question for you B10 nuts - has Belien been a pretty good recruiter since arriving to Michigan? Saw this year's class was pretty good, as next year's too.

I never him being a great recruiter at WVU -- but I'm sure it is infinitely easier to recruit to Michigan rather than West Virginia.

yeah I think Belien has done an outstanding job recruiting. it may be easier to recruit at MI NOW....but when he was hired MI bball was down, and had been very down for over a DECADE! he walked into MI in 2007 with Manny Harris and Deshawn Sims already at his disposal and built from there. his first recruiting class he got zack novak and stu douglas (also got ben cronin which was a big deal but the 7 footer broke his foot and never played for MI). novak & douglas were huge in the reemergence of MI. in his second they went to the dance for the first time in ELEVEN YEARS! next class he picked up darius morris & jordan morgan. now he's got Hardaway, Robinson III, Smotrycz...the man's a friggin genius.

Outside of both of the Hollins and Mbakwe -- Minnesota just doesn't impress me. IMO - they're over-rated, much like Illinois who lost at home to North****ingwestern last night.

I don't know why the raised floor is desirable. I'd think players could get hurt going after loose balls.

yeah MN may not be as good as their ranking indicates....we'll see. as I said before I fear this may be proven to be true of several B1G teams. definitely be interesting to see where todays top 25 B1G teams are at seasons end. like OH. I'm telling you, if all OH's got is what they showed in that MI game at columbus.....they are in trouble! I don't believe they are a very good team. MI is much better than what they showed that day....as could be seen last night.

but....that's why you play the game....

It is still the best conference in basketball this year. They've got 3-4 teams who could win it all.

It also may be the most over hyped conference too.
