Anything grind your gears today?

So I have a radio in the bathroom to jam tunes when I shower. I turn it on and college hockey is being broadcast on the college radio station. Screw that, so I turn to my back-up, classic rock which I guess to be playing Alice Cooper but it's on commercial. I hop in the shower and after the ads country starts playing, and it wasn't even good old-school stuff it was modern. WTH!!!! They changed formats! So here I am lathering with blood pouring out of my eardrums and I can't even sing along. Suck it 105.9!

PS, Shout out to Dr Johnny! Haven't seen you posting. You radio people have a lot of gall.

I went to Costco bought everything for a nice tri tip BBQ. Came home put the shit away, seasoned one tri tip and put the other one in the freezer. Buttered, seasoned and wrapped the corn in foil. Peeled about 5 taters for mash potatoes, chopped and placed in water on the stove. Cracked open an ice cold Newcastle before I lit the fire. I go out to my patio and BOOM no ****ing charcoal. I stood motionless, like it was there. Kept blinking but nothing. Nothing worse then having to leave when you're all settled in.

This should have been a prayer thread.

So, I'd never even heard of a tri-tip until last year. Good stuff! What's weirder than me never having heard of tri-tip was that I watched an ep of Married with Children the other day and they talked about having a tri-tip in the fridge. Spooky.

Back the first week of December I register for my classes. Got it validated and everything was ready to go. So come last week I go to the bookstore, on campus, and give them my schedule and they give me my books.
Went to classes and one of the professors has quit so I have a different professor. This new professor has a different book. Of course she will not work with me on the book I have which is one edition different. I was like this sucks but oh well. It starts snowing so they cancel classes for the rest of the day. So I show up for classes and everything is going along fine until my last class of the day. Of course a different teacher that requires a different book. Go to see my advisor to find out that she has already left for the day. Anyway come to find out that my original professor is now teaching only online. So the registrar just put me into this other seated class.
I can understand things change, shit happens and so on. What I can't understand is that the college in all their infinite wisdom couldn't even think to send me an email to notify me of these circumstances so that I am not blind sided by them.
Especially when 4 USED books cost my $680.00.

I let my water boil too long and most evaporated and I only had a half cup of coffee this morning. I was a little butt hurt about it.

I heard of it a couple years ago. Never knew about it. Friend explained that tri tip is Californian for BBQ.

No football tomorrow grinds my gears. They should do 1 game sat and 1 game sun. What am I supposed to watch tomorrow now?
