Non-playoff but important to the playoffs Ed Bronculi "incomplete pass" call against San Diego.

The only things I can truly fault the Broncos on is their conservative approach on 3rd &7, at the end of the game, and Rahim Moore's coverage. Additionally, in the second half they should have utilized more screens to Hillman IMO.
Of course it's speculation. That's what the "likely" was there for. However, my speculation has basis in reality: the rest of the game.

If the correct call had been made, it would have been DEN 7, BAL 7, DEN's ball, 1st down on the 36. Instead, after the kickoff, it was DEN 7, BAL 14, DEN's ball, 1st down on the 26.

Making the correct call would have meant 7 fewer points for Baltimore, 10 more yards for Denver, and a few extra seconds on the clock. I don't see any reason to assume the game would have changed drastically from that point, save Baltimore having one fewer touchdown.

Good point. It is obvious that poor officiating can change the outcome of games, I agree.

Today's games will rub more salt in the wound. They already had the ticket punched in their minds.
