Best/Worst Presidents

I've been watching the History Channel a lot this week on their special highlighting all 47 Presidents we've had. It calls itself the "ultimate guide" to the Presidents, but it's mostly a great primer on all the Presidents.

Anyway, it's been a while since we've done this.

But who are the best 5 Presidents in American history in your opinion, and who were 5 of the worst? Do your best to explain.

Also, where would you place our most recent Presidents (because why not): Obama, Bush II, Clinton, Bush I, Reagan, Carter

I would rather have one tractor, because I don't believe in slavery.

You tell me, are you under some stupid illusion that there's no such thing as manual labor today in 2013, much less in, say, 1900?

Well, if by that you mean I'm not some mindless dumb**** who thinks every Northerner was heroic freedom fighter and every Southerner was DiCaprio from Django Unchained, yeah, I guess I'm all towering or whatever.

Just like your defense of the embarrassment of a church you belong to, you wish to play games. Read the emancipation proclamation along with his personal viewpoints on blacks. The fact you shamelessly defend and follow the catholic church shows credulity on your part. It is not shocking this bleeds into your beliefs on other subjects. Go try your little game on someone else schoolboy~

As Lincoln put it late in the war, Davis "cannot voluntarily reaccept the Union; we cannot voluntarily yield it. Between him and us the issue is distinct, simple, and inflexible. It is an issue which can only be tried by war, and decided by victory"

Play games? I'm straight up asking you what's so revisionist about the view of Lincoln -- which is what you said. Now you're just running away from it. I suppose you think people think he loved black people and couldn't wait for integrated marriage. Well, who thinks that?

Pretend I'm Ronnie Lott: don't run away from me, try to fight me.

There was certainly manual labor after the war, too. Thanks to Jim Crow laws, blacks could be rounded up and jailed for the slightest offense, then sent back to work the same land as prisoners that they had as slaves. Yaaay freedom!

And the absolute, underlying support for slavery was Southern reliance upon it as the cornerstone of their agrarian economy. Take that away and things change. How much or how quickly we'll never know.

The thing that pisses me off about people like you is that all you think about is FREEING THE SLAVES FREEDOM FREEDOM but you don't give a single **** about the hundreds of thousands who died doing it, or the hundreds of thousands more who were physically and emotionally damaged for life. I wonder if the dead would have thought it was worth waiting out technology?
