Lanza used four handguns. No semi-automatic rifle was used.

There is something wrong with this case. It’s been a month and the police have just now released this information, thereby allowing the media and the Obama administration to gin up a frenzy of anti-Bushmaster hysteria. Inaction like that is explained only two ways: One is total incompetence. The other is that someone is controlling the release of information.

I seriously doubt that it’s incompetence. That leaves the other option. Why would the outflow of information be managed like this?

The coroner was very adamant that all the injuries he saw were due to a rifle and I’d assume he can figure out the difference between a .223 rifle wound and a .40 Smith handgun wound.

So you dont believe all the subsequent police reports and medical examiner reports showing that it was the Bushmaster which was used, but you do believe a media report made a day or two after the incident?

That alone struck me as odd. Not all but the majority of 5.56/.223 ammo used for target shooting by the nonhunting public is of the full metal jacketed variety that would punch right through an animate object at close range and not do as much damage as a hollowpoint round from a centerfire handgun thats designed to expand and do damage at close range.

In previous press conferences, the Connecticut State Police clearly identified all of the weapons seized from the crime scene at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

To eliminate any confusion or misinformation, we will again describe and identify the weapons seized at the school crime scene.

Seized inside the school:

#1. Bushmaster .223 caliber-- model XM15-E2S rifle with high capacity 30 round magazine

I had heard initially that there were many rounds fired (some said like a hundred, but you can't always go off of witnesses because they are traumatized) and I had no problem believing that the AR was used. I was confused about the gun in the trunk, and I'd like to see the video, but a shotgun is pretty easy to distinguish from an AR-15.

I'm sure he used the Bushmaster. Not that it matters, he could easily have done as much damage with the two handguns if he had multiple magazines.
