QB, CB, DE (who can rush the passer from 3-tech in subs and 4/5-tech from base fronts), WR, S, ILB who can play in subs(cover).

I'd disagree with DE but other than that...yeah.

I'm pretty disheartened with all of our DEs ability to provide a pass rush.
Bailey might improve and I hope he does. Other than that, for us to 1-gap sucessfully, you have to have at least 1 DE who can get upfield. That could be Poe if the new regime decides to move him to DE and slide Powe at NT. |

Baldwin should give some of his money back for underperforming.

QB,S,CB,ILB are pretty much immediate needs for this year.
Which safety position is up for debate ... i thought Berry should of been a FS from the beginning but he is productive in the box as well. We need a guy with enough range to help out either sideline timing pass. I've never been impressed with Lewis and he can't stay healthy anyway. second level needs are: WR,DE,CB,DE,PK Speed WR is almost an immediate need. DE depends on what happens with Dorsey/Tjax etc. Can never have enough CB's. Succop is ok but he still seems to choke pretty regularly. Assuming we are keeping Colquitt. |

The scheme we ran the last two years made all our DL fullbacks for the LB's. That's as simple as I can explain it. It was stupid and counter productive IMO. This is why the TJ pick is even more stupid. ***** acted like he was trying to land a Justin Smith (SF DE) but that was never going to be his responsibility...
