I'm going to the Mizzou-Vandy game tomorrow. My pal Eric has four seats on Tiger Row. That's courtside, baby. They kick butt! Looking forward to seeing this years team up close. Hope Bowers knee is better and that he makes a difference.

It appears that at least one coach in the University of Miami investigation will escape punishment from the NCAA.
Fresno State athletic director Thomas Boeh announced Friday that assistant basketball coach Michael Schwartz will not receive a notice of allegations from the NCAA stemming from his previous employment at Miami, where he was an assistant at under current Missouri coach Frank Haith.
According to ESPN.com’s Andy Katz, Schwartz was given the news Tuesday, one day before the NCAA’s shocking admission of improper conduct by its own enforcement staff working the case.
CBSSports.com reported Monday, through an anonymous source, that Haith was expected to face NCAA charges for unethical conduct and failure to promote an atmosphere of compliance following its two-year long investigation into imprisoned booster Nevin Shapiro’s allegations of improper benefits given to Miami’s football and basketball teams.
The same source also told CBSSports.com that Haith’s assistants at Miami — Jake Morton, Jorge Fernandez and Schwartz — also were expected to receive unethical conduct charges. But it appears those allegations may never surface because of what the NCAA disclosed Wednesday.
NCAA president Mark Emmert has put the Miami investigation on hold while the organization explores the depths of its own improper conduct. According to the NCAA, its staff gained information for the Miami investigation through the bankruptcy proceedings — information that would not have been accessible to the NCAA otherwise — with the help of Shapiro’s lawyer.
It’s not known what information in the case was obtained improperly, but Emmert said Wednesday that the NCAA can’t bring forth allegations using information its investigators should not have obtained.

I didn't think Bowers was playing....thought he's sitting out another game?

Either way....he's an added 10-15pts to the Tiggers scoreboard and can def be used in the lineup because they're limping along and just getting by without him.

Last I heard Bowers was a gametime decision. They could sure use his rebounding.

BTW: Tiger Row seats are AWESOME. They're at a table directly cross court from the Tiger's Bench. You're just as close to the court as the play by play guys. Here's a pic I took a few years back during a Mizzou-KU game. This pic was taken from my seat:

Sounds like Bowers is in uniform, but not starting.

Gabe DeArmond ‏@GabeDeArmond

Starting five for #Mizzou: Bell, Brown, Pressey, Oriakhi, Criswell.

That's the right decision.

Dammit, we just had a great defensive possession only for Brown to come down and take a 25 footer with 28 seconds on the clock. This team is so frustrating to watch.
