Well except that people think Star compares to Ngata.

I guess you have a good point.

To win a SB you must identify the mystical holy year where the stars align and the perfect QB becomes available at your draft slot.

The quest hangs upon the edge of a knife, friends.

Reid and Dorsey keep signing DL so they must be thinking about it too.

They are thinking about it.

They're thinking that it's a position you fill with cheap free agents, not top draft picks.

Dorsey should be brought back and given a chance to lock down the 1 gap nose.

Yep.

And thanks to Scott Pioli and RAC's ineptitude, he should come relatively cheap.

Seriously, go watch some of Glenn Dorseys LSU YouTube videos and tell me he isn't a prototype 1gap nose. His first step was one of the best I've ever seen from a DT.

Sure didn't show in the NFL...

He hasn't been able to rush the passer in ANY scheme.

And do not come back with "he hasn't been given the chance" because that's an absolute untruth.

This is fun.

Quote:
In July of 2010, John Lopez of Sports Illustrated proposed a rule to predict the success of future NFL quarterbacks, the Rule of 26-27-60. The rule predicted that if a NFL prospect scored at least a 26 on the Wonderlic test, started at least 27 games in college, and completed at least 60 percent of his passes, he would succeed in the NFL, if he did not meet all three criteria, he would fail.

At the time of the article the rule was a fairly accurate at dividing successful NFL quarterbacks from disappointments. The rule predicted success for Peyton Manning, Philip Rivers, Eli Manning, Drew Brees, Tony Romo, Matt Schaub and Matt Ryan. Meanwhile it predicted failure for Ryan Leaf, Joey Harrington, Akili Smith, Tim Couch, David Carr, Vince Young and JaMarcus Russell.
Geno started 40 games in college and completed 67.4 percent of his passes.

Now just gotta wait for that Wonderlic.

That's one of the most debatable things about Geno too.

A lot of people think he's dumb while an equally large number of people think he's got a high football IQ.
