Well, that would be saying a few things. First off, they really don't like this Qb class. Second, they probably have already gotten their Qb before the draft.

Dude, we're not trading from 1st to 4th for a single 2nd round pick. It ain't happening, regardless of who the Eagles are targeting.

Which is even worse for us in a trade down. We aren't going to get near as much because there isn't anyone prospect wise someone is jumping up and down to get.


The guy you've said you value the most said there wasn't a big difference in the first pick and the 25 or something like that. If thats the case, why trade up?

It seems to me, at least, that you've spent the past several posts trying to build a case why a trade down is not only possible, but probable.

I started this conversation in complete disagreement and I remain that way.

We are gonna be picking at 1.1 unless we get ripped off in point value.

My point was that there's no player in this draft that any team would move up to #1 for. Unless one of the QBs makes a big move in the next month.

Although, hey, if somebody wants to trade to #1 for Joeckel, then great. Because I think the only thing stupider than KC spending our pick on him would be some other idiot franchise spending even more than that to get him at #1.

Unfortunately that scenario's just a pipe dream for the true fans. If somebody wants to jump Oakland, they'll be trading up to your pick, not ours. Unless we just give the pick away.

Posting a link to the chart that shows us with a pick worth 3000 points and then showing what I have in terms of what it took for a team to move up to 6 wasn't enough?

Exactly. Doesn't matter whether someone wants to move up to 1 for a QB or a Guard. They will pay a PREMIUM in order to pick FIRST.
