Scott ***** hired by NFL Network

Scott ***** hired BY NFL Network.

http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2013/2/1...in-nfl-network Did not find it posted.

Work as draft analyst...

Former general managers Scott ***** and Mike Tannenbaum will join the NFL Network for their coverage leading up to the NFL Draft.

The NFL Network has added two recent general managers to their coverage team for the 2013 NFL Draft as Scott ***** and Mike Tannenbaum will provide analysis in the weeks leading up to the draft. ***** served as the general manager of the Kansas City Chiefs from 2009-2012 and Tannenbaum as the GM of the Jets from 2006-2012; both men were fired following disappointing 2012 seasons.

Despite their recent failings, both ***** and Tannenbaum have a long history evaluating talent in the NFL. ***** served in the Patriots player personnel department for nine years before taking the job in Kansas City and has worked in NFL front offices since 1992. He has won the NFL Executive of the Year Award from numerous organizations, including most recently in 2010 from both Pro Football Weekly and Sports Illustrated. Tannenbaum had served in the Jets front office since 1997, working his way up to general manager.
Both the Chiefs and Jets experienced significant problems at the quarterback position in 2012, problems many fans blame on the general managers and that contributed to the two men losing their jobs.

I'm actually pretty ****ing devastated that I thought he could do it, based on his illusions of how to win in the NFL.

And with BPA in mind, how the **** did we always draft for need? Like, every first round pick?

Because the biggest lie in football is "We draft best player available". Literally no team does that.

It really makes no sense. At all. If the BPA at your pick is a ****ing guard and you have two good guards (not specifically KC, we don't) you don't take a guard.

BPA is a great idea, when you don't have any needs.

Scott ***** expects #Chiefs to tag Dwayne Bowe and use "buyer's market" to replace Branden Albert. Both draft & free agency strong at OT.

I'm starting to wonder if Alberts back is bad or they do want to move him to guard or something.

You were saying earlier a quote by ***** was a look into what the Chiefs would draft. So which is it?

Which one? Where he told Andy Reid not to lock in a QB?

A conversation directly with Reid about what the Chiefs SHOULD do is a little different than him speculating to journalists about what he thinks the Chiefs WILL do.

Raise your hand if you can't wait to see Kiper and McShay go full retard after we pick Geno Smith, talking about how we would have been better suited with a guard, tackle, or defensive lineman instead of quarterback.

***** is now gushing about how fantastic Russel Wilson's interview was, despite the fact that he failed to pick him when he had the chance in the third round. Lame.

it would be hilarious if someone, while ***** was talking about what he'd do if he were the Chiefs, would say "well now we know what the Chiefs shouldn't do..."

I wonder how ***** would react to DISRESPECT on TV. He might just walk off set. That would be great.
