Got to keep that good defense going. Man, if we can get just some of the offense going here the next few weeks, we should be sitting in a pretty good position. I still think it all comes down to Bowers

Defense always travels better than offense. If we give that same type of effort against UK we should win.

I would love to see the same defensive effort we saw towards the end of the Florida game. That was something that can be built upon, but until I see it again on the court, I remain skeptical (the lifelong curse of being a Mizzou fan)

With wins today by softball (over Florida at a tournament in Palm Springs) and wrestling (over Ohio State at the National Duals), and men's basketball on Tuesday (over Florida at Mizzou Arena), Mizzou has beaten three of the nation's fifth-ranked teams in the past four days.

Nah you're just using common sense. We've seen 10-12 min of defense in one game out of 26 thus far. It was a big game at home and they wanted it bad so the kids were all in; for whatever reason Haith hasn't been able to inspire that sort of defensive effort otherwise. Hopefully they build on it but I'm going to have to see it to believe it.

Gameday is in Lexington. They all picked UK...except for Jay Bilas, who says Mizzou will sneak out a win. Hope Bilas is right.

Has Gameday ever been to Columbia, MO whenever it's someone other than Kansas playing there?

They've only been to CoMO once for basketball last yr's Border War and once for football '10 OU.

They were in KC for the '07 Border War football game and at TX for the '08 football game. They might've been at OU for the '07 football game but I'm not for sure. Maybe the Big XII CCG in '07 too. I can't remember those two one way or the other.

Not sure where else but I could be forgetting something.
