I'd be thrilled if we drafted Geno and went into camp with a full blown, no favorites style open competition for the starting job. Tell both sides there would be no favoritism.

I mean, that's not too much to invest in the QB position.

Washington spent the 6th overall, the 38th overall and their next two First round picks to fix the qb position.

We would be spending the first overall, the 34th pick and another second rounder.

I would do that in a heartbeat...if the Chiefs do that, I'm gonna buy a set of the absolute best available seats available.

There is no chance that's the direction these guys are going, though.

Or to see if he knows what the drug of choice is. Most normal people couldn't tell you unless maybe they have first hand knowledge. If someone says "prescription pills" or ecstasy then there is more reason to be concerned.

Don't forget the 4th rounder they spent on Cousins in the same draft. They had limited resources after the RGIII trade yet they continued to invest in the position.

The #1 overall in a year when there's nothing good at the top isn't too much of a steep price one ****ing bit. We need an extra QB regardless. May as well spend it on something that will bring us one step closer to locking up and securing success at the QB position once and for all.

I'd much rather take out insurance on the QB position than the ****ing offensive line, which appears to be what we're planning. And of course we're only doing that for about the 8000th time in this franchise's history with still nothing to show for it.

Worked out well for the Seahawks; and although there was no question the Skins would start RGIII from day one, they weren't afraid to go all-in on the QB position. Its no coincidence that those two teams arrows are now pointing way up.

The more of a possibility this is, the better for us as Chiefs fans.

1) It GREATLY increases our chances of being able to trade back.
2) It means that if we don't pick Geno, at least the Raiders won't be getting him.

Seeing how nothing has happened with Bowe and Albert then the first pick is easy. Tag Bowe again and draft a tackle in fhe first probably after a trade down. I hope the Centr. Mich kid and not Joker.

I still think that Bowe gets signed, Albert is tagged, and trade down a few spots and grab either Patterson or Milliner. I think i have finally given up on holding out hope that they take Geno.
