Chiefs Did you forget these guys were Chiefs?

Admit it.

ILB Quan Sturdivant -- a big, hard hitting inside linebacker from North Carolina. The Chiefs scooped him up in UDFA. He has yet to see the light of day on the field but before he started tanking at the Combine, he was frequently thought of as a 3rd or 4th round pick.

S/CB DaQuan Menzie -- played nickelback for the Alabama defense after Arenas went pro, played pretty well as a smart but slightly physically limited corner. ***** actually drafted this guy last year in the 5th round. Can theoretically play either position.

TE Martin Rucker -- an athletic tight end that teams didn't take to terribly well but ended up in Kansas City last year after a team that scooped him in as an UDFA dropped him shortly thereafter. I think he spent 2012 on IR.

C Luke Patterson -- a converted defensive lineman who was unimpressive at tackle, even since they moved him inside, he has tore shit up, starting with last year's preseason last year as our backup center.

S Kyle McCarthy -- yes, despite losing playing time to UDFA Tysyn Hartman, McCarthy is still a Chief.

K Matt Szymanski -- the Chiefs carried two kickers almost all year last year. Ponder that.

MARTIN RUCKER!!! Younger brother of Mike Rucker. From good ol St Joe!

I'd love to see him recover from his torn ACL and make the team.

Menzie, Rucker and Patterson are the only three I remember. I sure hope Menzie can rise to the level of decent safety depth this year. I don't have much hope for any of the others, although it would be great if Rucker, the local guy, could stick. Maybe there's room in Reid's offense for a receiving TE with limited blocking ability.
