Starting fresh with Doctors
I think there are some medical profession types on this board.

Is there a way to go to a Doctor and not have them use previous test results and diagnostics information? You go to a doctor and they just pull out tests etc from previous doctors and use their results.

When you fill out the forms at the first doctor's visit if you just leave all the previous Hospital and Doctor information blank will it force them to do the work themselves?

If you really just want a new opinion that isn't biased by old notes and tests, then tell them that when you call to make an appointment. I'm sure they will honor your request. They will need to call your insurance to make sure that tests that they want to do will be covered. They will also probably think you are a bit kooky.

I like to make my own diagnosis. Radiographs and test results are helpful, but I don't want treatment notes or the previous diagnosis. I want to make my own call.
