I love when gun nuts post stories like this. All it does is disprove their cause.

I guess I don't see how it disproves any cause. Care to elaborate?

That killing people en mass is just as easy with a knife or any other object.

I keep thinking this is obvious to people but apparently some just don't get it.

Well, it is, depending on the circumstances. What would you say is/are the differences between the two? I would argue that the only real "benefit" of a firearm versus a knife is force projection. You have to be close to your target with a knife.

Anything else?

In this situation, with an AR15, we would have a lot of body bags to fill.

Where is the concealed carry guy in Texas to blast the bad guy?

The joking about knife control, etc. is pretty silly and when they start taking names of mentally ill people with guns, this forum would be a great place to start.

Sure. Hell, my two year old made a lasso out of the wife's cat when he was two.

A) Not a guarantee.

B) It was on a college campus. Most campuses refuse to allow concealed carry. If any thing this situation is another argument for changing that.

C) And here we have an example of why the mentally ill angle is so dangerous. It is too easily manipulated.
