Make your pick and STATE your case

Brokeaki is just that & Fasano is a quality #2 but the CHIEFS need an infusion of talent at the TE spot and I think we can count on Dorsey to grab one given the depth at the position in this draft.

Who do you like and which round will he be picked by KC?

Dion Sims, MSU, 4th round. He can block like a mutha, pretty good route runner and has good hands. Everytime I watched Michigan St. this kid flashed with his play. Do it Dorsey!

Nick Kasa, TE; Colorado

Only started one year at tight end for the Buffs (former defensive end), but he's got great size and speed. Big upside. A pick for the future as the guy learns the game on special teams and running behind Fasano and Moeaki.

I gotta think it's going to be a high upside dude in the middle rounds with serious receiving chops, moreso than Sims or Kasa. I don't see them going with a big, hulking specimen like Kasa or Fauria. But we're just getting to know what Dorsey/Reid like, so what do I know.

Chris Gragg is a ChiefsPlanet favorite, and he makes a ton of sense for what Andy Reid wants to do. I think Mychal Rivera out of Tennessee is also a prime candidate.

Personally, I like Kelce, Sims, Rivera, and Gragg.

Very true. Andy Reid drafted Kelce's brother.

Keep your eye on Kelce.

Chris Gragg in the 5th or Mychal Rivera in the 7th.

I forgot to state my case. I targeted these guys because they seem more like the kind of pass catching or H-back type of TE that might fit a WCO and who might be available in the mid-to-late rounds. I haven't ever watched either of these guys play* and I don't really know Andy Reid's history with TEs so it's a shot in the dark.

I'd like to think that Martin Rucker might have a shot at making the team as a 3rd TE, but that's probably a pipe dream.

* Except the game Rivera played against Mizzou last year and like both Tenn WRs, he had a pretty solid day IIRC. I can't say that I payed much attention to him though.

Screw these 4th and 5th rd guys. For our QB we need a stud like Vernon Davis (1st rd, 6th overall).

Make a trade to get back in the 2nd round and grab Zach Ertz TE Stanford.

At 6'6" 250lbs Ertz is a good enough blocker and a big enough target. Plus he posses excellent hands. He will be an added asset in the red zone. He is smart. (Stanford) and reliable has he showed up for 31 college games in his career.

You can get plenty of good TEs after the 1st. In fact, I'd argue that the more recent 1st round TEs have largely underwhelmed in comparison with those selected later.

Eric Fisher in the 1st and Tyler Wilson in the 3rd. It's a done deal.
