Of course he is looking good...he's facing Jalil Brown.

Just like training camp 2012.

Jalil Brown was actually the one who gave him the most trouble last year.

so it's who cares now?

Reid is paid to ****ing win. Dorsey is paid to ****ing win. They gave a few picks for the best available QB (key word: available).

I realize CP doesn't understand the draft, at all...(not one bit)...

so again (and I have never received a rebuttal to this point)...

please go over the past 10 years of drafts and research picks 30-45 and then report back on how often you find a pro bowl caliber player with those picks

please use percentages

because people are acting like these two 2nds for Smith was like trading 2 all-pros for the damn guy when in reality AT THE VERY WORST we traded Brandon Flowers and say Dexter McCluster for Alex Smith.
And with the way KC drafted this year in the mid-rounds, it may have actually been a blessing that we gave away that second round pick. They probably would've wasted it on Gio Bernard or Zach Ertz.

Finally someone else mentioned it because I wanted to see if anyone else found the irony that a Chargers fan would post this when their QB was getting manhandled all last year and gave them no protection to use those "supposed" weapons.
Maybe one of the few arguments that beady eyed **** actually had to justify some of his classic on field temper tantrums or misplaced fits of rage he displays that make him look like such a runny little sour-twat.

Rather, they'll throw more resources at the situation, thus further exasperating the problem.

I'd hold the dolphins fins to the fire if they end up wanting Albert. Though I'd be very happy re-signing Albert

He sure wasn't a franchise QB just because he was one of the best of all the retread/rejects this team has had on it's roster for the last 30 years.

Hmm, let me think about this.

Last year:
  • ten QBs had ratings above 90.
  • only five QBs threw over 30 TD.
  • Only one (Drew Brees) threw 40 TD.
  • Only five starting QB had more INT than TD. (Cassel is easily at the bottom. 6 TD and 12 INT. ****ing piece of shit).

Now, here are Trent Green's best four years:

GP CMP ATT CMP% YDS AVG TD LNG INT FUM QBR RAT
16 287 470 61.1 ... 3,690 7.85 26 99 13 0 -- 92.6
16 330 523 63.1 ... 4,039 7.72 24 67 12 4 -- 92.6
16 369 556 66.4 ... 4,591 8.26 27 70 17 10 -- 95.2
16 317 507 62.5 ...4,014 7.92 17 60 10 5 -- 90.1

His averages over his four best years would have (last season) made him:

#9 Rating
#14 TD
#4 YPA
#8 Yards Thrown
#9 CMP %

His statistics during his best year would have made him:

#9 Rating
#7 TD
#7 Yards
#4 CP%
#2 YPA

So, I think it is fair to say that he was an above average QB whose OL allowed him to play at a very high level - to 10 in almost every category. If he had thrown a handful more screens to Priest Holmes instead of the toss sweep, he'd be elite in TD also.

Playoff wins kept Green from being elite. But he absolutely was a franchise QB until his brain got scrambled.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).
