Just finished re-watching the series. I absolutely love this show.
I came away with a slightly different opinion of both Walt and Skyler than I had before.

I STILL don't see Walt as the diabolical figure he's often painted as.
I think all of the evils he's responsible for were ultimately for the purpose of survival.
I can count only one act that I believe to be truly gratuitous.

Spoiler!

A lot of it is survival, but part of it is ego driven. He resents that he didn't make millions from science. He thinks he should have been something more than a teacher. That clouds his judgement. And he had an opportunity to get out and didn't.

One of the guys I work with went to the Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting this year. He told me they got both Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston to do a film for them where they had them out in the desert cooking up stuff. When they get all done they were making peanut brittle. Apparently Bershire has stock in some candy company or something like that. I guess it was pretty comical.

I thought the season started this month. Turns out it doesn't start till August. Stupid as hell. I've almost forgot what happened in the first half of the season.

Anyone know the key episodes to watch from each season to get caught up?

AMC is also showing reruns on Friday nights I believe.

Part of me can't wait, the other part doesn't want it to end.

So I guess Saul doesn't die. Unless it's a prequel I guess.

Anyway, it's hard to imagine it being good, but I'd give it a try.
