Obamacare is postponed one year for...

...large corporations.

ObamaCare is still going into effect in 2014, but one key component of it is being temporarily shelved. The White House today postponed by one year a rule requiring employers to either provide coverage to employees or face hefty fines, reports the Wall Street Journal. The rule will take effect in 2015, instead of 2014...

It is better to duck the rising premium during the election year. Smart move!

Yep.

COURT BATS OBAMACARE BACK TO SUPREMES

Chief Justice John Roberts and his cohorts on the U.S. Supreme Court will get a second chance to slap down the health care takeover known as Obamacare.

The 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled today that the Constitutionís Commerce Clause is enough authority for Congress to demand employers purchase private health insurance for their employees or pay government fines.

No, the court did not "bat Obamacare back to the Supremes." The court of appeals ruled against someone and the loser is free to petition the SC to hear it, but there's a 99% chance that they wont.

That worthless shitbag is a waste of air. Your are reasonable and willing to see both sides of an issue. That ****head is not worthy of your time~

You tell me, Pete: What percentage of Democrats vote for that, and what percentage of Republicans vote for it?

My guess, 90+% of Democrats vote for it. 0% of Republicans vote for it.

You?
Republicans shouldn't vote for it. This is the same mess that happened with Social Security; a present anchor on our economy and ticking timebomb on it's best days.

Social Security was something that Republicans were steadfastly against but got it shoved down their throats. In time, it grew and grew and suddenly the parties started trying to pass laws to make Social Security better rather than doing what they should've done to begin with and recognized the wrong-headedness of the concept.

You're absolutely right - Republicans (conservatives, really) have absolutely no interest whatsoever in making Obamacare better. We flat want it gone. I've seen this movie before and all it leads to is a larger and larger problem that snowballs until both parties realize that there's not a damn thing any of us can actually do to solve it.

Before this can become an argument over which party can simply minimize the damage of this disastrous piece of crap, we should simply kill it with fire. I have no interest in watching Rs and Ds argue over how they can best implement a program that should have never existed in the first place.

But you know that. So do the legitimately savvy politically operatives that were crying for people to "pass it so we can find out what's in it". They knew the moment this law passed, no matter what was in it, the conversation would shift away from keeping another socialist power grab off the books to which which party could 'best' utilize said socialist power grab.

I'm not interested in improving it. I want it gone altogether. This isn't the purview of the federal government.

I dunno....

It seems like there are a ton of people in the poor red states who are all "fukk 'obama" despite not having dental insurance or decent health care

If this issue gets divided purely by who is a have and who is a have not, then Obama care will win , all day , every day.

Thats why we all need to come together to find a sensible plan to deal with the problems at hand...

If we keep the status quo, and nothing gets done, shit like obama care just happens automatically....

We need to find some people willing to do some shit.
