Old movies that bring back nostalgic memories

I'm watching the original Karate Kid movie, and it surprises me how much I'm enjoying it. It just really brings me back to when I was a kid --- I was 11 when this came out. Sweep the leg is still a phrase that is iconic, but the Daniel san and Mr. Miyagi relationship was good stuff. And what teenage boy wasn't in love with Elizabeth Shue?

All that said, what movies have you seen as an adult that really took you back to when you were a kid? I sometimes assume these old movies won't hold up, but it's not really about that when nostalgia is involved.

I saw this in a drive-in with my dad when I was around 13 years old. It was the first part of a double feature, with the second movie called "Truck Stop Women". We actually stayed for the first few minutes of that. I have no idea what my dad was thinking by staying but I was sternly told not to tell my mom.

What's great is she was naked in A LOT of her films ... even when she was a teenager ("Walkabout").

EDIT: Damn, just saw Listopencil referenced this already.

Heh, excellent list. I'd add some Rolling Thunder in there. Every now and then Netflix will add in a few of these drive in flicks on there. Eat my Dust and Galaxy of Terror were on their for a little while.

3 O'clock High; was tremendous.

Monster Squad; watched that with my kids about 100 times.

Sandlot; Transports me back in time to when I was a kid and had the American dream of playing in the bigs. (Unfortunately I had Charlie Brown talent)
