Another reason to use online pharm. Obots hanging out at Drug Store

CVS Caremark is joining the effort to encourage Americans to sign up for Obamacare insurance programs, company executives announced Thursday.

CVS officials told POLITICO that they’re planning to use pharmacies at their 7,400 North American stores as a gateway for the uninsured to learn about new coverage options — especially subsidized insurance coverage available to low-income people on state-based insurance exchanges.

“Half of people who are eligible for a subsidy don’t know they’re eligible,” Helena Foulkes, chief health care strategy and marketing officer at CVS Caremark, said in an interview.

Foulkes said CVS pharmacies would invite trained “navigators” into their stores to help eligible people sign up for exchanges. The company also plans to plug the health law at 375 health care fairs around the country, particularly in areas with high rates of uninsured people and large minority populations.

Of course they're going to do this, they are incentivized to get more people on the dole so they can push more product out their own doors. Simple business.

Well, when you think about it, it more business for them because it will put more people on prescription drugs.

Somewhere you asked why another guy thought you were stupid. That was a good question then. Now after posting this a number of people will be able to give you some evidence of said stupidity. Unless this was Tongue in cheek. Then its pretty funny in a way.

This "navigator" thing has some serious $$$$ behind it..$54 Million worth of grant money to try to get people signed up for this huge expensive ****ed up HC deal.

And outfits who worship Obama are in line to get some honey!!

http://redalertpolitics.com/2013/07/...eral-data-hub/

As the Obama administration frantically tries to enlist the help of organizations to promote the Affordable Care Act, Planned Parenthood could be one of several groups with access to citizens’ sensitive information in the Federal Data Hub.

According to The Illinois Typepad Review, if the organization is granted funding through the Department of Health and Human Services’ $54 million in navigator grants, the nonprofit will have access to Obamacare’s Federal Data Hub. The database contains citizens’ information collected from the Treasury Department, Internal Revenue Service, Department of Homeland Security and Department of Justice, and includes Social Security numbers.

Though these navigators have yet to be named, Planned Parenthood is likely to be one. [...]

Planned Parenthood has already signed on to promote the healthcare law, as POLITICO previously reported, and some affiliates will apply for HHS’ navigator grants, the news outlet stated last month. The deadline to apply for the funding was June 7, but the agency has yet to announce all the organizations receiving the awards.
