Suggestions on new TV

looking at around 50 inch.

3d or not? Hearing that 3d is not being done much.

Watch mostly TV and football. Not many movies.
May be looking for a bundle-sound bar included.

Looking at something in the 60-70" inch range.

Not too expensive (under $1500)
I have three.

They have a 70" Vizio LED right now for under $1500.00. The warranty is extended to two years so if it fails before then, they'll replace it free of charge.

A 47" LCD in our kid's playroom, a 37" LED in my wife's small office (12x12 room) and a 47" LED in my "room".

I think they're great. No complaints.

For those interested in a bargain 51" TV, have a look:

http://slickdeals.net/f/7075058-51-s...best-buy-sears

I have a 50" Samsung plasma that's about 8 years old that still runs great, but I don't know how much more life it has so I'm going to get one of these and keep the old one as a backup. At $380 for a 51" Samsung plasma, I can't pass it up.
