The smorgasbord of Syria options. Which do you favor?

Good people of the DC forum: you are now the United States Congress.

I have a dozen different options in dealing with the crisis in Syria. You will vote what you prefer.

I'm sure Congress will take our lead.

A pretty exhaustive poll coming.

Keep in mind, these are the options are you are approving of as of now, based on what you know now. You are casting your vote now.

I don't doubt the sincerity of the Libertarian-Liberal alliance against force, but bloodthirsty neocons like Santorum jumping on the bandwagon just makes me laugh. If President Romney were asking for approval, Rick would be front and center cheerleading it.

The sensible choice is missing, which is doing nothing militarily while cutting off all aid and isolating Syria in terms of all finance, trade, and diplomacy.

Pretty much been done already. From a half a billion dollars in trade a few years ago to under 20 million.

If so, that is not going to be any kind of political masterstroke. It'll actually get Obama off the hook, he'll be able to shrug and say that congress has spoken, and the people will be relieved and approve since they seem to be against this. If congress votes for force, Obama isn't going to later "point the finger back at the evil Hawk Repub Congress", that is utterly silly.
You're delusional if you believe that. Obama has never been shy about blaming someone else when the opportunity to take some responsibility for a failure has presented itself. I think it's a given that no matter what Congress does and regardless of whether the final Obama admin decision is to use force or not, if things go bad, Obama will blame Congressional Republicans.

Lack of confidence in Obama's leadership and seriousness is enough to explain that and no one can say that that lack of confidence isn't well earned.

I am for that and supplying humanitarian aid to the surrounding areas to help with refugees. Other than that, stay the **** out of it.

You are going on the assumption that all this chemical warfare has been proven in hard facts towards Assad and that is simply not proven at all. This is all ginned up BS and I am totally against risking more American Blood (especially when they won't even take "boots on the ground" off the table) and especially even more when our Usurper in office actions have spoken much louder than his words to my point and Patteau's points of political finger pointing at any cost !!

Speaking of Romney, fwiw, he's saying that he supports action. Clearly he's a bigger man here than me and can look past Obama's leadership and reliability deficiencies.

Put up aerial cams and televise it like the hunger games.

The kurds and copts are probably the only groups it's unfortunate are being hurt and Obama has no interest in helping them.
