http://abcn.ws/1ewR1NY

George Zimmerman is being held by police after a domestic incident involving a gun, police said today.

Police in Lake Mary, Florida, said that Zimmerman is being held at a residence of a relative on suspicion of domestic battery of his estranged wife. There is a gun present at the home and police are investigating whether it was used, they said.

Oh good, now the discussion begins about what an angel George Zimmerman is. And coming from the same people who complained about posting pictures of sweet, innocent Trayvon Martin. You think just because he's done some good deeds in his life, that automatically disqualifies him from doing nutty things? Hell, while we're at it, Trayvon Martin was an A and B student who wanted to be an aviation pilot. Right?

So you cling to the decade old negatives and brush off the recent positives

Which would be irrelevant, except that in the past year alone, he's been rung up on 2 speeding tickets, perjury, and now a domestic disturbance call (details TBD... some rumors about a possible affair as well). The idea that we should completely ignore his prior domestic disturbance and restraining order, when thinking about his possible actions in an alleged domestic disturbance charge is silly.

Kind of like some of the people in this thread think some of his "nutty behavior" recently increases the likelihood of his guilt in the Martin trial? I guess it only goes one way; Zimmerman does something good; doesn't count...bad...counts.

I maintain his innocence because you can't prove Zimmerman did anything aggressive or overzealously. There is absolutely a window of suspicion that he did do something wrong, but again, it's unprovable.

There are plenty of people who do outwardly good deeds, but under the surface are capable of bad things. So yeah, if you do something bad, I think it's silly to suggest that because you did a few good things that that makes you incapable of doing bad things. And I think it's absolutely fair to say that when you do something bad, that outrules any good you've done.

Sorry, I don't think Zimmerman is a good person. Does that make him guilty? No.

It's okay to say it, even if you support him. He was innocent the night of the Trayvon incident, but he's a nutjob.
You are totally not understanding my point. All I am saying is, he is in the limelight everything he does will be scrutinized. Everytime he is pulled over, fails to pay a bill whatever its news. He will not handle it well. And no matter what anybody thinks he is no doubt still dealing with ending a young mans life. Trouble is going to follow him for a long time.

Same thing happended with Rodney King and several others. Hence my statement "This is George Zimmermans Life"

So if that's what you believe wouldn't the reverse would work as well? If you do something good, that outrules anything bad you've done in the past?

Deeds do not necessarily connect; that's why our judicial system doesn't usually allow someone's criminal past to be used as evidence in court.
