I know there are enough of us to participate in this thread, even when our seasons inevitably go to shit.

KSU vs Western Illinois today, tip-off at 3:00 pm.

One thing I noticed near the end of the game on Friday night - we had 5 true freshman on the court, and still played sound basketball. None of them were scrub walk-ons either. While I don't think we will make a serious run at anything this year, the foundation is being laid for a solid program in the future.

Interesting. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think he's suited up at all this year... Like I said, we're not missing him and I've never really been a fan of his, but I think it's interesting that he hasn't played yet.

Anyway, 2nd half just started and it looks like we're just trying to penetrate the lane & draw fouls on offense. I like it.

FYI, former K-State offensive lineman Jeromy Clary just got carted off the field during the San Diego-Denver game with a knee injury.

Jake just get the wind knocked out of him?

Jake must be alright, he just made a nice crossover & drew the foul. Seriously, I love it that we're attacking the basket. It's an athletic team, why not use it to our advantage?
