Exactly.
Pretty damn hypocritical of people to knock guys like Bowe, Flowers, Berry etc while propping up guys like Poe and Houston. Both Bowe and Flowers have produced at an Elite level far more often than Houston has. You cant call a guy who was tied for 19th in sacks "elite" and then call Bowe, who's actually had a season leading in a statistical category and produced for many years as "tier 2". If Houston is "elite" then Berry is "elite". Both have shown flashes of greatness and inconsistency. This is 2-0 Homerism talking. |

as of right now I think Derrick Johnson might be the only one close statistically to maybe make the hall of fame
Poe, Berry, Houston have to project out a decade plus of what needs to be very high level play to dictate that. DJ on paper and a few more consistent years will be close. Hali has no chance imo. |

DJ in the Hall of Fame?
Shit, I don't think he's even close to deserving... |

But i would have to say that Charles is the closest to HoF worthy, but even he needs to string together a few more seasons of good/great play. |

Charles is the only Chiefs player that has a realistic shot as the HOF.
And that's for his YPC. And he's gonna have to do that for five more seasons at least for consideration. DJ doesn't have a chance right now. |

I think Poe has a realistic shot if he puts up 10 sack seasons for the next 6 years.

We need these guys to win a SB.
A small army of them will make the HOF if it happens. |

lol at you guys who think DJ even remotely has a chance to be in the HOF. Maybe the Chiefs HOF..or Ring of Fame.
He'd need to win 2SB's and would need to be a SB MVP and a few more pro bowls before he'd even be considered in that discussion. And to be honest it's pretty f'n unrealistic to think he can still accomplish that this late in his career. Isn't he like 31 ? There's nobody on this team that'd be considered HOF worthy unless Dontari Poe has double digit sacks for 10 yrs straight or something ridiculous. Charles won't play long enough Bowe's too late in the game -Same with Hali, Flowers, DJ I guess there's an argument for Houston, but he'd have to post 15+ sacks consistently for like the next 7-8 seasons and would have to be a probowler every year with a DPOTY award, and at least another nomination for that award. A SB would help too.

100 tackles the next 3 years and he's close to 1000
I think he has a chance with some winning success, if the team continues to lose then forget about it He will end up being a notch under guys like Urlacher and Zach Thomas statistically without all the all pros and pro bowls |

2-0 homerism? Hahaha
6 of our players were in the probowl and we had 1 alternate. We had a handful of guys in the players top 100 list. |
