Joe Buck?

Firstly: I don't watch enough baseball to really have an opinion one way or the other.

That being said, I know people on here can't stand Joe Buck. I've been reading the hate for a while and people complaining about him commentating the series.

I woke up to local sports radio, and those guys were ALSO bashing Joe Buck. Then every caller that called in was bashing Joe Buck and saying how the technical difficulty time was so wonderful because Joe Buck wasn't on the air.

So, my question: is this a pretty universal feeling outside of Cardinals land? Has Joe Buck jumped the shark? Will the network continue to give him major gigs if there's this much dislike of the guy's commentating?

He's more of a irritating nerd, than an all out villain. He's no King Joffrey or anything. Just the guy at the party pimping Nickleback's new CD who makes you say 'Aww, just shut up already.'

Just thought I'd remind everyone the Kansas City Royals are in the World Series for the 2nd time in 2 years and have a 2-0 lead on the Mets. It needs repeating every 5 seconds to remind yourself its true

I'm actually quite a fan of Gary Throne. I would like to see him call more national games, though I doubt he'd be favorable to us after what we did to his O's last year.

Harold Reynolds is ****ing 1000% times worse and knows nothing. I wonder how he played baseball all those years and still doesn't know shit about the game.

It's mind numbing listening to Reynolds.

For a few years he was the main play-by-play guy for the MLB International feed... the one we got to hear in game 1 when FOX went down. Sometimes when you see old World Series highlight films you'll hear clips of his calls.

Buck was more excited by Gordon's HR than Denny. I don't get the Buck hate much at all because it seems like he talks great about basically everyone but I thought this was funny.

I saw Colin Cowherd's rant the other day. It was slightly funny, but not accurate. He said that everyone hates Buck, but loves their own guys. I've seen plenty of people on here ripping the Royals announcers. On another note, Cowherd called Hosmer "Hasmer." He sucks too.

The broadcasters voice certainly paints the game and creates a certain "color" to the game... they are key for an enjoyable experience... with that said.. i miss madden after hearing these other guys

The fact that you like anything having to do with Costas makes me question your judgement.

I used to love Costas until he started grandstanding on non game related issues during games.

The dwarf has single handedly ruined the Olympics. I know that is more NBCs doing than anything but he is the face of that network.
