Serious accident on route 1, the main road to the stadium, a few hours before the game started, probably had a major impact.

Pat's have sold out the stadium for years and years.

But our fan base is definitely spoiled. If you are 25 years old, the Pats have been a dominant NFL team for basically your entire memory.

LOL. I think I did pretty good from memory. I thought the Patriots had another coach between the Parcells and Bellichick era - I was too lazy to look it up.

Like the NFC north has seriously contested Packer domination? AFC south the Colts?

In the last 15 years only the AFC North has produced more than one team that has won the SB.

The Patriots win about 75% of their games outside the division, and that's with playing the division winner schedule pretty much every season.
