Easiest schedule ever for the Chiefs. I could easily see 14-2. What a great break. Anything under 12 wins would be a major issue.

Potential problems:

We get the Raiders coming off a long week after their Thursday night game.

We get the Titans and Broncos coming off their bye. The good news is that the Broncos in Denver was always going to be pencilled in - and maybe inked - as a loss. So, no real setback there.

I do worry a touch about Tennessee coming off their bye. And we face Atlanta for their second straight home game.

The nice thing is that - when we go to Oakland, we are coming off the now-famous "Andy Reid Supercharging Bye Week." That game could be marked easily as a loss, but the smart money is usually on Andy Reid after a bye.

Add in having four (!!) straight home games in December, and this could really be the best regular season schedule we've seen in a long time. (Note, I said "schedule" - Fisher's rookie year, the Backup QB gods smiled upon us every single week, but on paper, it wasn't as good as this).

Maybe there is something to the Chiefs having taken it up the pooper last year - going to London, three home games before Thanksgiving.

We won't play Oakland in the color rush game. It would be bright yellow vs mustard yellow.

Was just about to say that. Will be on the Christmas game.

Stupid of the NFL to put Oakland in that mustard yellow. Perfectly good opportunity to go all black, even though I hate the color rush.

Why is Arizona all yellow?
Why is Detroit all black?
Why isn't Oakland all black?
Why are the Jets light green instead of dark green?
Why isn't Denver all orange?
Why isn't Minnesota purple?
Why is Houston light blue instead of dark?
Why isn't Philly green?

Steelers game on the road will be a loss.

Chiefs just don't win there.

Now you want to talk about kryptonite, let me tell you folks that playing in Pittsburgh is Kansas City's kryptonite.

I hope the Chiefs don't end up playing the Steelers on the road if they make the playoffs.

It's a tough place to play. We always play them close, though.

I'm not saying I think we'll win, but it will be a damn good game.
