He is a locker room cancer from what I hear. Great player but really his days in KC are numbered.

"From what you hear"? You have sources in the Chiefs locker room?

And listening to Kevin Kietzman doesn't qualify as "sources".

Separate the anthem protest from the football-related actions.

Football-related this is what Marcus Peters has apparently done wrong:

1) He threw a flag into the stands in frustration last week and then left the field because he mistakenly thought he had been ejected from the game. Dumb? Yes. Worthy of the amount of criticism he has received? No. Did his actions hurt the team on the field more than Steven Nelson's back to back holding penalties? No. Did his actions hurt the team on the field more than Justin Houston no-showing? No.

2) He supposedly has been yelling and arguing with the Chiefs' assistant coaches. Tom Brady yelled profanities at Josh McDaniels on the sideline last week. It happens.

3) His effort and production on the field have been questionable. Fair criticism. Chris Jones' effort and production have been non-existent since the Eagles game. Justin Houston had a zero stat line last week. Marcus Peters is not the only player on defense whose effort and production should be criticized.

So it is simple... you either admit that you hate Marcus Peters because of his anthem protest regardless of anything football-related, which is a fair/valid position to take, or you separate the anthem protest from his football-related actions and recognize that Peters is far from the main problem with the Chiefs defense right now.

Is Justin Houston running away from tackles? Not that I've seen.

Does Justin Houston give up on plays? Not that I've seen.

Does Justin Houston drop off of his assignments or lose his assignments completely because he can't control his delicate little feelings? Not that I've seen.

How is it "race bullshit" to criticize Justin Houston's 0 tackle 0 sack performance last week against the Jets.

Explain.

Wow and I mean double-wow...I thought I joined “Chiefs Planet” not “angry white planet.” Now I know why I left Columbia at 20 and never looked back. What shame. I found great articles(that I can’t post btw) on the AFL All-Star game boycott in 1965. One had a picture of Abner Hayes at the top. Another was in the”Undefeated” section of ESPN.com. I suggest you guys check it out. This franchise his a history of fairness and inclusion, not ignorance and hate.

Mistaken you for the same dumb mother****er that used Travis Kelce as an excuse and now tries to find another excuse in Houston.

But how about this, how about you admit that Peters deserves everything he got and then some and it isn't about anyone but him?

Justin Houston may have performed poorly in a game, but I have yet to see him do it purposely.

That's all that needs to be said and is absolutely suspension worthy

Justin Houston had zero tackles/assisted tackles in a game where the opposing team ran 80+ offensive plays, so apparently the supposed "fear of tackling" that Peters has is a learned trait from the highest paid member of the defense.

And Peters thought he was ejected, when he was told he was not, he came back.

Was the flag throwing, him leaving (even under a mistaken assumption) dumb? Yes. Did those actions hurt the Chiefs more than Steven Nelson's back to back holding penalties? Did those actions hurt the Chiefs more than Justin Houston's zero production performance?

Houston got paid and got lazy.

Shocker.

Has nothing to do with Peters, other than their play sucks. If Houston had thrown a flag into the stands, I highly doubt he'd get much support.

Houston has not regained his closing speed since his recurring knee issues from the leg whip.

I'm not sure he got lazy. I don't think he's the guy he used to be physically, and I don't think he ever will be again.

Which could be the case with Berry. I mean... a guy can only go through so much.

lol. Yeah, that's it... Dumbass.

Do you EVER place blame on the coaching staff? You know, the people who always claim, "I need to put them into position to succeed."

Houston is not being utilized to get QB pressure, and that is on Bob Sutton... not "Houston got paid and got lazy."
