Yet I live in this shithole. Farm, lots of open land around me, but no rain and at least 30 mph wind every day is making me think of moving my family and business.

I grew up in Independence Kansas. That's in the SE corner and even there life was better, water, trees and no ****ing dust storms. That's two hours North of Tulsa.

We have new area residents that moved from Wyoming that said they thought it would be warmer here only to find out how bad wind chill really is. Said it's technically colder up there, but in reality feels a LOT worse here.

We have some other new neighbors (8 miles away) from the Houston area who thought it would be nice to not be as humid only to find out the opposite is a shitshow. They went from 40-50" of rain a year to less than 8" of total annual moisture.

I don't know how the farmers do it around here. It is by far the most hostile and unpredictable land to raise corn in the nation. I'd say 3/4 of the dryland wheat didn't even get cut last year. Wouldn't even help their year average for insurance purposes.

I used to fly out of AMA a lot and I know you guys aren't doing any better.
