You could be right, maybe he steps in, and takes over immediately.

If you didn't go Joeckell, do you think it is impossible to think that the Chiefs could work out a contract with Albert?

A lot of people are adamant that all this Geno stuff is just a smoke screen.. well maybe the albert stuff is too. Maybe they arnt signing him / letting him know whats happening because they dont want to show their hand.. it goes both ways is all..

So far, TBG has posted that
1) Alex Smith was a "win now" trade designed to take advantage of the prime talent we currently have 2) they view Geno as a good long term guy and love his skill set, but have concerns about him being able to play right away. 3) signing Chase Daniels is something they aren't locked to 4) Geno didn't do well on the white board at the combine. These guys have to take Geno and in the next two years, trade one of the three. Andy Reid got a 2nd round pick for AJ Feeley and more for Kevin Kolb...I don't doubt his ability to get a return for Daniels, Smith, Smith or whoever. Keep the best one and extract the value from the other two. |
