2010 Kansas City Royals Repository thread
All Royals All The Time!

After consultation with others who peruse the game threads we decided to create this as a repository for all things Royals. Minor league news, AL (ahem) Central (thanks Vonne) news and anything Royals can be found here.

alnorth, me and atleast 5 others will continue the game threads as usual. But if you locate something of interest.. ANYTHING.. deals on apparel, best ways in/out of the stadium, giveaways, great stories from this season or from seasons gone by, rumors, trades, anything.... feel free to post it here.

If a big story breaks, you can still start a thread about it. There is merely an all inclusive thread that will make a easy for us all to keep up with all things Royals.

After the New York Post's George King reported Friday that the Royals were willing to listen to inquiries about Zack Greinke, Bright House's Tom Krasniqi tweeted that he's heard the Rays are "kicking the tires."

We doubt anything will come of this, but the Rays do have pieces to offer in either Wade Davis or Jeremy Hellickson, elite outfield prospect Desmond Jennings and infielder Reid Brignac. Really, though, it'd be very dangerous to part with so much young talent when they have to worry about keeping or replacing Carl Crawford this winter.

Soria is a luxury and a commodity that is far easier to replace. He's also cheap and would bring a very strong return.

Finding legit #1 starters, however, is hard, and we have no excuse for not re-signing Greinke when his current contract expires.
