You were what...4 years old when the '86 Giants played? What an amazing memory you have. Or are you just regurgitating what you read again?

Trent Green has been a model citizen and a good Chief, who lead some exciting offenses in the past. I think his whining hurts his image and its unfortunate that things are shaking out this way.

Very true... Honestly living out of market, I dont see it, hear it and only read what is posted on the planet...

Sucks to see such a stellar legacy in KC be tarnished by this crap Trent and Carl are pulling.... We should be so lucky that anyone is offering any type of pick for a QB that is 37 and scrabbled...

Carl just needs to get this done. He, like Trent, is looking like a douche as well...

Well.......I don't think Trent's worth as much as Randy Moss is.......

I think some people are a little overzealous about what his worth really is......

Randy Moss is an entirely different deal. He has a lot of baggage that Trent doesn't have.

Is that a trick question?

A 6th-rounder and a swap of 3rds would have been VERY reasonable. Too bad Miami refused.

There's no precedent for giving someone a starting QB for a 6th-round pick. None whatsoever.

Joe Montana was coming off a major injury and hadn't done shit since, I dunno, 1991? 1990? We gave up a friggin FIRST-ROUNDER for him.

Where was all of this trashing when Trent was throwing for 4000 yards, being a stellar leader waiting for the defense that never showed up. There was no complaining, no calling him a "whiney bitch" and all of this BS that goes on around here. Even if you don't agree with his stance in this situation, He and the Chiefs front office are in a chess match. When it's all said and done, I'll still be all chief, wearing my jersey on Sundays and I'll also be a Trent Green fan. The planet will always be the planet filled with some good comments but primarily easy chair general managers and head coaches who really don't know their butt from a hole in the ground as far as football business. These guys all know what they're doing, we've got no choice but to ride it out. I wish him totally the best. If the Chiefs don't make the SB, I would seriously love for Trent to make it. Neither will probably happen, but oh well.

And the planet will also be filled with jerkoff newbees that think that you have to lick the ass of every Chief to be a real fan and know what you're talking about.

Where were the people complaining when he threw for 4k? They weren't.

If you didn't know that already, you're a bigger reerun than I imagined.

This is a dumb-ass post. Where was all the trashing of Trent when he was throwing for 4000 yards, blah blah blah...well, there was no reason to trash him then was there? You're comparing apples and oranges. Nobody bitches about anything until they are given a reason to. Up until this debacle, we have had no reason to bitch about Trent.

I personally love the guy and I want to see this shit end, before he just completely implodes and becomes hated. He needs to and STFD. This "Press Conference" was pointless and un-needed...all it did was stir more shit. Trent, I love ya, now shut up. Carl, I know you want what's best for the team, and right now getting rid of Trent at any price is best. Let him go and let us all move on...
