Because Kaepernick isn't a bonehead Bronco fan like yourself. Like 95% of professional athletes early in their career, it's all about the money. There's multiple teams desperate for QB's right now, and you damn well better believe his agent knows that. He WILL get paid, and despite your homerism, he's not going to give up millions per season to play in Denver. The team with the deepest pockets will be the color he wears for years to come.

Kubiak and Elway wanted PFM in there after the loss to Pitt but he wasn't healthy enough to play. For the same reason Oz was benched against SD: The team wasn't responding well enough to him. Oz didn't **** up enough to get benched. He actually performed adequately. But the Offense started playing very poorly around him, and he got yanked.
