They got off to a very slow start, dropped several key passes. They'll need to dramatically improve the run game, but the good thing was that Denver's defense held their runners very much in check, so that was positive. Charles and Company aren't going to be that much different from Rise and company.

Remember when Tennessee brought in Matt Hasselbeck to stabilize the QB position?
Remember when Miami traded for Trent Green to stabilize the QB position? Remember when Oakland brought in Aaron Brooks and/or Jason Campbell to stabilize the QB position? This shit only ever works if the veteran is really good. That's our saving grace in this strategy. Alex Smith could surpass even the homers' expectations and be really really good. Otherwise it's a waste of ****ing time. A COMPLETE waste of ****ing time. |

What we're proposing to do is say, "Look, we're just complete awful ****ing shit. Just the worst ever. So let's calm things down, get the offense playing together under a veteran who knows what he's doing." An "evaluation year" if I may call it so. |

We may not win the division, but it is sure going to be fun beating the Bronco's in Denver to win the AFC Championship!

Denver is Manning and a bunch of scrubs. No running game, no pass rush until they get their main criminal back, and receivers who can only catch balls thrown in their numbers. If Manning's rheumatism acts up, Denver is toast.

If you thought that the Ravens team before last nights game was what many thought, including Chris Berman foolishly picking them as his super bowl pick this year, then that shows how much you really understand.
If you truly understood the game of football, and stopped looking at BOX SCORES, and watched and understood football, you would of realized that last post season while the numbers looked great, Joe Flacco didn't play as well as his numbers. He was rescued, time and time again by teams mistakes, (Rhahim Moore, Peyton Manning) and by his own players, (Anquan Boldin, Dennis Pitta, Jacoby Jones) more than Joe Flacco being a top shelf qb, or anywhere near what his contract was. The Ravens lost all of their leadership when Ed Reed left, and Ray Lewis retired. And how did everyone like seeing the Ravens barely run the ball and seeing Ray Rice alternate series with Bernard Pierce? Don't get me wrong, the Broncos are a good team, but, they wont be able to hold up to teams that hit them in the mouth when they are on defense. John Harbaugh screwed the pooch really hard last night. Joe Flacco looked like absolute shit, and they pretty much ignore Ray Rice all night while players like Ed Dickson dropped passes, and Joe Flacco led Dallas Clark into monster hit after monster hit. The Ravens are not a playoff team this year. Too much was lost on offense and defense.
