I am both excited and terrified of the upcoming Summer Steam sale.

Or wait for the steam winter sale and get it for $10. By then, Ubi may have all the bugs stomped.

I watched Lirik play the game for an hour last night. I wouldn't pay $10 for that shit.

Meh. It's just a watered down version of GTA (Mafia might be a better parallel ) that takes itself too seriously storywise. The idea of walking around eavesdropping and pulling personal information and hacking people is kind of cool I guess but in practice it just results in walking around and pressing X all the time. There's no consequence in terms of the people you are actually ****ing over.
I don't really have high expectations for these types of games in terms of gameplay because they're all essentially the same more or less, so I'm really more into the story/RPG aspect of it.. which stinks. It's sort of your token Pre-Batman, "Taken" revenge story which tries to force feed you drama when it's like.. why should I give a shit about this sort of criminal anyway. It takes itself way too seriously which is the complete opposite direction of GTA5. I'm only about 1-2 hours into the main story line so hopefully it gets more interesting. The PvP aspect is kind of interesting I guess. Sort of like Dark Souls 2 except there's more variation in game types. It's only happened once for me so far but it's pretty annoying to be on your way to a quest and some derp invades you. Oh yeah, it also takes my PC to the shed and I have to turn the graphics waaay the **** down. I'm not running a powerhouse but it just seems like the game isn't optimized for shit. Running i7 3770k + Radeon 6870 + 16GB 1600MHz RAM + 2x7200RPM WD Blues in RAID0 and I have to put everything basically on low for it to run relatively smoothly (I'm also running on a modest 1440x900 resolution so there really shouldn't be this many issues..). Was thinking about pirating it first before buying it but I just went ahead and dropped $72 bucks on the deluxe edition anyway because, **** it, it's just money right? Regretting that decision now..
