Can anyone with knowledge of throwing mechanics please explain to me why a 6'5" guy like Cassel would ever need to take this large of a stride on ALL of his throws?


The dude makes me cringe when he throws! It is so ugly, and it takes for ****ing ever to release! He needs the largest pocket in the league with that 7 foot long stride.
Is it because he is weak armed or something?

Holy mother of God. He pretty much breaks all of the rules for a QB throwing with proper form.



Left big toe is inside his body instead of out (increase hip rotation and power, along with accuracy)

He is kneeling down instead of upright (look at Peyton Manning, every pass he is upright almost to the point of jump passing)

His left hand is beside his body instead of rotating through. (poor motion)


Right foot is way outside of his body.
