2013 World Series. Two wins from another World Series Championship
2014 NLCS. Three wins from another WS appearance
2015 Clinched Central Division title and Home Field advantage in the playoffs. First team in MLB to win 100 games since 2011.

  • Made the postseason 11 times in the last 15 seasons.
  • Only 1 losing season since 2000.
  • Reached the World Series 4 times since 2004 and won as many championships (two) the past eight seasons as it did from 1965 to 2005.
  • Made the NLCS 9 times including the last 4 years 2011-2014
  • Three million attendance? Take it to the bank.
  • 65 post season wins since 2004. 22+ wins more than any other team.

We get Holliday up to full speed by the playoffs and its a different lineup. We still need to get Peralta and Wong straighten out before the playoffs.

We get Moss/Jay/Reynolds out of the starting lineup and improves the bench. Playoffs you need good AB's from the PH in the 5th inning, sending Cruz/Kozma/Bourjas up there just won't cut it.

Said on the broadcast that Moss, Reynolds and Peralta were 1-51 in their last AB's.

Adams never could run anyway. He has to be better than Moss and Reynolds. But, when Holliday comes back it had better not be Piscotty that gets the short straw or a part of some rotation.

Honestly, I'm done scoreboard watching. The Cardinals have the division lead - they shouldn't HAVE to scoreboard watch. They fought for 5 months to give themselves the cushion to allow them to simply beat the teams they're supposed to beat and go the playoffs.

The rest of the league doesn't matter right now - the Cardinals need to start ****ing playing baseball or who really gives a good god damn what the rest of the Central does?

Doesn't matter if we are playing the Reds or the Pirates. The issue is us, not the other team.

All teams will swoon at some point for a week or two during the 162 game season. But, that had better be over now. It's crunch time. Get it together or you are playing Arietta in a one and done game. No one to blame but themselves.

I have the same concern about this team I had before he recent losing streak, they don't hit and they don't score runs. Same issue as last year.

They have no power, strike out like they get a bonus for it, and they run the bases like morons.

They aren't going anywhere in October.
