2014 NLCS. Three wins from another WS appearance
2015 Clinched Central Division title and Home Field advantage in the playoffs. First team in MLB to win 100 games since 2011.

  • Made the postseason 11 times in the last 15 seasons.
  • Only 1 losing season since 2000.
  • Reached the World Series 4 times since 2004 and won as many championships (two) the past eight seasons as it did from 1965 to 2005.
  • Made the NLCS 9 times including the last 4 years 2011-2014
  • Three million attendance? Take it to the bank.
  • 65 post season wins since 2004. 22+ wins more than any other team.

Bourjas has speed but he cant steal bases. I don't remember ever seeing a player with his speed be such a lousy base stealer.

His defense in the outfield is outstanding. But, it still doesn't mean he's worth a roster spot at the expense of our much needed offense.

Reynolds and Bourjas will be a wash against playoff pitching, speed and defense become the deciding factors for me. Of course he will probably find an excuse to keep Jay and Kosma so it will be mute.

Maness really took a dump recently, but I still prefer him to Broxton. I am not a Cardinals fan, so I don't watch them nearly as much as you guys....but I wholeheartedly believe that Broxton will cost you guys in the playoffs. He simply isn't very good. Just watch. He is going to give up the cookies in an important spot. I hope it doesn't cost you dearly.

Assume Holliday, Pham, Heyward with Piscotty at 1b and you have Adams and Grichuk for power bats off the bench. If you start Adams, then you could have either Pham (if he starts Heyward in CF with Piscotty in RF) or Grichuk. There are any number of combinations that you would have at least two power bats on the bench besides the Garcia/Kosma Cruz options. If Carpenter goes down in a catastrophe at 3B you can put Garcia at SS and move Peralta there in a pinch or vice versa. You don't need 2 deep at each position, and if Pham and Piscotty had not come on here the last month and a half you would have to keep Reynolds and probably Moss' worthless ass too. We have options that if you want to you don't have to take Reynolds. I doubt they leave him off, but I would. I think it is just as likely for Bourjos to get lucky against quality pitching as Reynolds and provides so much more that you could use at the back end of every game.

Nothing really. He was in obvious pain and didn't look right from pitch 1. Broadcast homer crew even picked up on it right away.

He should never have been allowed to go out there. Surely his bullpen and warm up would have shown the problem even if he didn't tell anyone. He looked weird and his fastball speed was way down.
