Oh, Herm...you really put your foot in it this time...

Well, this should be fun!

Now, our offense will have to gel. Will it be a slow-starting? I don’t know. We haven’t played yet. I’ll answer that after we play. When we score seven points I’ll say we’re slow starting. If we score 21 points, I’ll say, ‘whoa, we scored a lot of points.’ 21 points is a lot, 30 points isn’t a football game. That’s Arena Football. We’re talking about real football.”

I'd rather follow Herm than your pathetic, fatass, mush-mouthed excuse for a head coach.

He sucks. He has no leadership abilities whatsoever. He shouldn't even be a head coach. He started out in the ****ing PR department for chrissakes. I doubt a single player in the locker room respects him.

How about the guy who won a road playoff game, and was a field goal away from winning a 2nd road playoff game while Pennington had a torn rotator cuff, and Reggie Tongue and Mark Brown were in the starting lineup?

The facts: 4 playoffs in 6 years, while playing in the same division as a dynasty in its prime and with a QB who always got hurt, 2 playoff victories (including a 41-0 shellacking of Peyton Manning and the Colts), 1 road playoff victory, a field goal away from another road playoff victory.

That's the resume. Everything else is just biases based on disliking the way he talks and his preferred style of play.

Keitzman was talking about this today.

Herm will never be popular untill we at least win the division. We went from that crazy high-scoring O, to... well, this.

He's changing the philosphy of the team... Vermeil's Chiefs made scoring look easy, and now it's not easy... so people are pissed off.

The man obviously wasn't saying that you shouldn't score more than 21 points. (for ****'s sake) He was saying that this team shouldn't need too.

He's trying to instill a tough, hard-nosed, defensive mentality.

Apparently you LOVE that kind of football. You're a Jets fan. When have the Jets EVER been anything else? Herm is one of the best head coaches your franchise ever saw.

Why not? Terry Shea was a DV leftover. Clearly his philosophies didn't mesh with Herm's. Cya!
