2014 NLCS. Three wins from another WS appearance

  • Made the postseason 10 times in the last 14 seasons.
  • Only 1 losing season since 2000.
  • Reached the World Series 4 times since 2004 and won as many championships (two) the past eight seasons as it did from 1965 to 2005.
  • Made the NLCS 9 times including the last 4 years 2011-2014
  • Three million attendance? Take it to the bank.
  • 65 post season wins since 2004. 22+ wins more than any other team.

I got to say one thing I always try to catch or DVR each year is your guy's opening day ceremony. It's pretty darn cool IMO.

All the Hall of Famers in attendance, the Clydesdales etc. I don't think anyone in baseball does it better.

I've traveled all over the world. Watched the Cardinals win a World Series live. But, never been to an opening day. I've got to get to one soon.

I've sat all over the place in Busch III. Not a bad seat in the house as far as I'm concerned

Opening Day is such a big deal in STL. I think the pressure got to them yesterday. All the Hall of Famers watching, meeting them before the game, the day is like a holiday in STL. Teachers and kids both skip school. I think they were too tight yesterday.

I've sit behind home plate. Way up in the upper deck of RF. The patio porch and the bleachers.

Going to agree here. The sight lines are excellent all over the ballpark. Just depends on how much you want to pay. Pretty much every game is a sell out so you will probably have to go to Stubhub for the better seats.

WTF is up with modern day sports? ESPN and MLB network are both going with live game coverage of a Cubs vs. Padres day game in April. Why? The arrival of Kris Bryant to save baseball.

I understand he has talent. He can mash the ball. I get it. If he was on the Cardinals I'd be really excited. Not saying he will flop either. But............... how many "can't miss" prospects have flamed out? I would bet a shitload more have flamed out than lived up to their potential.
