Had a pretty good trip to Busch Stadium this weekend, other than the wrong team won.

I had seen a game at the old Busch right after they put grass in, that must have been 1996 I think because the Rams played on Astroturf when the moved in 1995.

Stadium looks huge on tv, but its very inmate with great site lines. You can tell it was designed for baseball. Cardinals sure play up to the BFIB bit, but its no different than what the Chiefs do. Still great stadium, glad I got to see a game there.

Its a great place to watch a baseball game I've not been myself since baseball village was built.

The "K" is a great place to watch a game too.

People give you shit about being a Royals fan or was it just regular smack stuff?

No the Royals smack was kept to a minimum. There was a lot of Royal fans in downtown St. Louis this week. I bet there was a good 15k there yesterday.

Ballpark Village is cool. I've been before during Blues games and after concerts, little different feel on a baseball game day. Downtown baseball is different feel for sure. I was with a group and we were drinking afterwards so being there was nice, but those weeknight games if you live in the burbs I could see being a bitch.
